Fourth of July

Yesterday was one long day of revelry. Our first true day of pure celebration.... well... impure would be more accurate.

First we went to the CBFD's pancake breakfast - followed by beer - followed by the parade - more beer - followed by an afternoon of playing croquet and guitar with my buddy Mark - with a night cap overlooking the entire town to watch the fireworks.

Check out Ken on his hot "ass" - Liz just got a job today working with this guy up at Fantasy Ranch... sounds dreamy. It is - it's gonna be a fun job. Ken has been a great guy to have around - he leaves July 17th and Liz is being trained as his replacement. Ken helped lead the ride that my parents went on while they were out here.

The parade had it's dirt jump with fire float of course...

Oh, and the snowboard rail jam float as well... cause really - what is a Fourth of July parade without one?

The last 2 blocks of the parade were the wet zone... where the firetrucks parked and sprayed the crowds... everyone got soaked... That's Liz in the cowboy hat - Mouna in the hot glasses - our roommate Phillipa with the rock and roll fan pose and Marcos in the one lensed glasses. Mouna was in our EMT class and was an instant friend to both Liz and I - unfortunately she left today to go back to Chicago... but the seed has been planted - she'll move. Oh yes... she'll move. Phillipa has been a great roommate - she's laid back, honest, and genuine - which is good. Marcos makes a mean sushi roll - the best sushi that I've ever had in my life was made by this guy right here....
