Jacob and Kerri were married this weekend in Blue Bell, PA - which I guess is better than Blue Ball, PA - although Blue Ball is much closer to Paradise and Intercourse, PA - but that's another story.
The reception was beautiful and the pictures from the private ceremony looked gorgeous as well.
It was good to be home for a bit to see the 'rents and to see the LCDS crew again. Solid group of high school friends for sure.
My knee was ok - hobbling around with Grammy's cane made it easier to be nice to it while still being fairly mobile.
Liz and I are smoothing out some rough spots as we make these huge transitions in our lives - nothing quite like quitting your job, leaving a city you've been in for almost 9 years, and moving to the mtns to cause a bit of stress in a relationship... on top of that add a smattering of knee surgery and a dollop of heart conditions - and then blend it all together with dreams and aspirations of Ski Patrol and the Peace Corps. Makes 2 heaping servings of stress. Excitement is the desert that we're slowly getting a taste of while packing our moving boxes.
So - we've got three piles started - one for everything that's coming with us - onf for the stuff we'd like to store - and the remainder that is being given away this coming Sunday.
Still haven't heard from The CB news or CB resort on either of my job applications.
