Whoa here they come...

Green Lake

Croquet has begun!

Fly Fishing in the Black Canyon of The Gunnison

Liz's family comes today. They're staying at a cabin up at Lake Irwin that comes with canoes and kayaks and fishing rods. It should be a good time.

We've been up to the same old same old... it's a rough life of Mountain biking, Fly fishing, and playing softball. We both are playing for KBUT 90.3 the local radio station's softball team. It's a blast. We rode up to Green Lake the other day - it was gorgeous. We went fly fishing in the Black Canyon of the Gunnison on Wednesday - that was also gorgeous.

It's croquet season again - so that's fun.

My parents come next Tuesday - so they'll get to meet Liz's parents which should be fun!!

I'm off to mow the lawn and clean the house for our guests!!

Here's a video from one of the holes on our croquet course...

Update

Shawn about to be blasted with Paintballs at the bachelor party...
Mark hitting the "bulls eye"!

More Bachelor Party photos to come - it was a blast.

Been working a lot lately on getting Foresight Photo to be the Aerial Empire that it could be... bought some new domain names and am working on some advertising venues. So far the efforts have been working with at least a call a day for aerial work. The latest includes a client that wants a shot a week for 9 months of their construction project... Interesting.

Had my first death as an EMT the other day. It was sad - a man fell 3 stories at his construction site. It still doesn't sit right - I doubt it ever will. We did all we could - so that makes me feel better - and both Gunnison Valley Hospital and Grand Junction where he was flown to both commented on the excellent care that we provided. Still it's quite sad.

Got to guest DJ on a friend's radio show the other day - that was fun. For all of you bachelor party goers - you'll be happy to know that I played some Battles, Silversun Pickups, Menomena, and Kings of Leon - you indie lovers you...

I'm still hoping to get some photos posted from The Grand Canyon - I'm sure you've lost interest by now though....

Our softball team KBUT (the local public radio station) is 1 and 1... we lost miserably yesterday after our first baseman dislocated his shoulder and broke the head of his humerus... I gave basic care and then we took him to the clinic where Liz was working... too bad too - cause she was about to leave and come play - instead she missed our entire game. Oh the sacrifices....
